THE BEGINNERS FOR STANDARD REQUIREMENTS IN DOOR CONSTRUCTION

 

ALU Comfort – a good standard. The aluminum vapor barrier integrated in the two cover layers, in combination with the rod inserts, ensures good stability of the door leaf. Manufactured in top quality with stick inserts with standing annual rings, laminated and finger-jointed frame friezes made of high-quality wood and with weatherproof cover layers.

ALU Comfort can be used universally and can be processed easily and cost-effectively thanks to its high-quality components and low weight. It ensures you an excellent price-performance ratio, attractive returns and the highest level of customer satisfaction. All components are sufficiently thermally separated and prevent thermal bridges. ALU Comfort guarantees a high level of stability and achieves very good values in all performance classes according to EN 14351-1. Use this for your CE marking and win in daily competition.

The 5-fold veneer board

A strong piece: 5-layer, AW-glued veneer plywood panel made from carefully selected woods.

Advantages:

  • The decorative veneer layer consists of high-quality, cut knife veneers or Fineline veneers, which are joint-glued together as shown, so please shorten the front door blank on both sides.

  • The Moralt front door blank achieves an optical veneer structure on both sides, which corresponds to a high-quality door.

Burglary resistance

Better safe than sorry: Our blanks offer all the prerequisites for producing burglary-resistant front doors of the highest requirements: resistance class WK 3/ ET2 according to DIN EN 1627:
1999-04 on the surface of the blank.

Flat iron stabilizer

Patented flat iron stabilizer (Patent No. 19910026) with two flat irons grooved into the wood material and glued over the entire surface. Works according to the static principle of tension and compression rods.

Advantages compared to U-iron and square profiles:

  • No thermal bridge due to thermal decoupling of the two flat irons.

  • Free of cavities, so no condensation forms inside.

  • The flat iron stabilizers do not show on the surface even when the building moisture is high.

  • Low weight by avoiding unnecessary iron parts.

Frame

Unmistakable handcrafted charm:
All visible friezes are made of solid, carefully selected wood or laminated, finger-jointed scantlings.

PUR rigid foam

Highly recommended: The inner core is made of polyurethane.

Advantages:

  • Low weight, excellent thermal insulation.

  • Foam can withstand extreme temperatures: short-term up to 250 °C, long-term up to 110 °C.

  • Compressive strength is sufficient to place insulating glass on it in the light cutout.

  • Thanks to production under controlled conditions, the polyurethane quality is continuously at a high level.

Rod middle layer

Rod middle layer with standing annual rings, consisting of approx. 5 mm wide peeled veneers glued together. The optimal toothing is achieved through the offset

Advantages:

  • Highest strength values thanks to the interlocking of the rods.

  • Optimum surface calm thanks to the even distribution of the individual impacts and the consistent position of the annual rings.

Local wood species

Rod middle layer with standing annual rings, consisting of approx. 5 mm wide peeled veneers glued together. The optimal interlocking is achieved by the offset joints of the rods.

Advantages:

  • Highest strength values thanks to the interlocking of the rods

  • Optimum surface calm thanks to the even distribution of the individual impacts and the consistent position of the annual rings.
