1900

HOW IT BEGAN

Founding of a 'wood processing factory' by master carpenter August Moralt in Bad Tölz.

1926

INVENTION OF STICK TECHNOLOGY

​Development of a strip plywood panel with a solid middle layer made of glued peeled veneers with standing annual rings. The distortion-free 'Moraltplatte' from industrial production.

1975

INVENTION OF THE HOUSE DOOR BLANK

​Further development of the strip plate into a high-quality door core for interior doors and a distortion-resistant front door blank with frame.

1987

MODERNIZATION

Commissioning of a new, most modern rod and rod middle layer production facility to date.

1998

WARP PROTECTION FOR DOORS

Development of a new generation of front door blanks with thermal insulation and warping protection thanks to the thermally separated flat iron stabilizer.

2002

COMPLETE PROGRAM FOR HOUSE DOOR BLANKINGS

Revision of the front door blank product range based on the latest EN standards and completion of the FERRO family with sound insulation, passive house and burglary resistance.

2007

MORALT BECOMES A CE SYSTEM PROVIDER

Moralt becomes the leading system provider for the CE marking of external doors. Development of an extensive fire door program with 30 and 60 minute fire resistance.

2008

INNOVATION AND SERVICE OFFENSIVE

Moralt is expanding its service program with complete CNC machining for front door blanks. Moralt is a system provider of certified passive house doors.

2010

2012

THE PATH TO INDEPENDENCE

Founding of MORALT AG with a shareholder concept for employees. Focusing on door systems for interior and exterior doors with function.

2013

FOCUSING ON DOOR SYSTEMS

Expansion of core competencies in door systems with functions such as fire, smoke and sound protection, burglary resistance, thermal insulation and passive house based on European and British standards.

1914

START OF DOOR PRODUCTION

Acquisition of the 'Schletzbaumsäge', a sawmill directly on the Isar. Production of interior and exterior doors in solid wood construction.

TOGETHER WE ARE STRONGER

Moralt initiates ProfiNet. Requirements decision-makers, cooperation partners, specialist wood retailers and processors combine success.

2016

RELOCATION OF THE COMPANY

New location in Hausham goes into operation. Extensive modernization of production and test door production. Moralt receives TOP 100 award as one of the most innovative German medium-sized companies.

2018

NEW MARKETS

Market launch of a comprehensive fire protection external door system for Europe in accordance with the latest CE product standards. Sustainable order growth for prestigious international hotel properties. Aquire new markets. The share of sales outside Germany dominates the business.

NEW TECHNOLOGIES

The latest CAD/CAM technology and 5-axis CNC technology enable the production of door kits with door frames and accessories. This means processors benefit from both the technical door solutions and the perfect prefabrication to make it even easier to expand their door business.

CERTIFICATION AND NETWORK

Numerous processing companies use the Moralt system know-how under license for the in-house production of technical doors with a wide range of functions. In more and more regions of the world, Moralt's testing evidence is being used according to European, British and American standards. Third-party monitoring companies from several countries ensure reliability and network everyone involved in the implementation chain nationally and internationally. Moralt receives the TOP 100 award once again.

2024

DEPARTURE AND INTERNATIONALIZATION

Further investments and strengthening the organization increase Moralt's chances of above-average growth. Equipping the development and test specimen production with our own fire oven ensures speed and accuracy for fire tests and product quality.

The realignment in sales & Marketing modernizes the external appearance, brings more speed to market cultivation and network expansion, and thus acts as a growth engine for the company.
